Basketball Recap: Vidalia Comes Up Short

Vidalia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They opened the new year with a less-than-successful 63-53 loss to the Acadiana Rams.

Vidalia's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Acadiana, their win bumped their record up to 21-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Vidalia will venture away from home to face off against Buckeye at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Vikings their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Acadiana, they will head out to challenge GEO Next Generation at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
