Football Recap: Glades Day Triumphs Behind Punishing Ground Game + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Glades Day had no problem doing just that on Friday. They walked away with a 42-34 victory over the Boca Raton Christian Blazers. The win continues a trend for the Gators in their matchups with the Blazers: they've now won five in a row.

Ramsey Rimes had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 150 yards and one score on only 15 carries. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in November of 2024.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Glades Day was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 311 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Boca Raton Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Joey Weber, who threw for 274 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 49 yards and one TD. Weber has been hot for a while, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last 12 times he's played. Christian Anderson was in the mix too, providing Boca Raton Christian with two scores.

Glades Day's victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Boca Raton Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.
