Volleyball Game Preview: Catasauqua Rough Riders vs. Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders

Catasauqua is 0-10 against Notre Dame-Green Pond since September of 2019 but things could change on Thursday. The Rough Riders will look to defend their home court against the Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Catasauqua lost 3-0 to Pen Argyl on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-8, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame-Green Pond didn't have quite enough to beat Northwestern Lehigh on Tuesday and fell 3-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Crusaders in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

Notre Dame-Green Pond took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-17, 24-26, 22-25, 25-23, 15-10.

Catasauqua's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Notre Dame-Green Pond, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.
