Winston County had won ten straight games and Lynleigh Cobb did her part to make it 11 on Tuesday. The stars were shining brightly for the Winston County Yellowjackets in a 39-23 win over the Lynn Bears thanks in part to Cobb, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards. She has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played.

Another player making a difference was Ellie Veal, who posted two points and seven assists. Those seven assists gave her a new career-high.

Winston County's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-0. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.3 points per game. As for Lynn, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Winston County will take on Cold Springs in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lynn, they will head out on the road to take on Sumiton Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
