Football Game Recap: Seckman vs. Eureka

Eureka simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday, as they easily beat Seckman 55-15. Followers of Eureka probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected five blowout victories.

Eureka's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 49 first-half points. Meanwhile, Seckman couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 49-0 heading into the break. Eureka were outscored in the second half, but their efforts were ultimately no more than a drop in the ocean.

Eureka's win brought them up to 8-1. This is the second loss in a row for Seckman and nudges their record down to 6-3. Both of these squads appear to be finished for the season, as they have no upcoming games scheduled.
