The Math and Science Academy of Charlotte - Concord Campus kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the HOPE Academy Royals, falling 3-0.

The Math and Science Academy of Charlotte - Concord Campus took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-9, 25-12.

The win got HOPE Academy back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. The Math and Science Academy of Charlotte - Concord Campus will welcome Langtree Charter Academy on Friday. As for HOPE Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Carolina Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
