Basketball Recap: Covington Takes a Loss

Covington was the 45-40 winner over Attica when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Covington Trojans were just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 58-57 to the Attica Red Ramblers. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Covington's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Attica, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Covington will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Seeger at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Attica and Westville will round out the year against one another at at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. Attica is facing Westville at the right time seeing as Westville is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
