Football Game Preview: Lexington vs. Lafayette County

After two weeks on the road, Lexington is heading back home. On Friday they take on Lafayette County at 7:00 PM. The teams both are strolling into their contest after big wins in their previous games.

Lexington won against Knob Noster two weeks ago with 52 points, and Lexington decided to stick to that point total again last Friday. Lexington steamrollered Carrollton 52-0. With Lexington ahead 36-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Meanwhile, Lafayette County put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They were fully in charge, breezing past Knob Noster 56-20.the rankings were on Lafayette County's side, but they didn't forecast quite such a lopsided result

Their wins bumped Lafayette County to 4-3 and Lexington to 6-1. After the lofty point totals in their previous games, we'll see if they're able to heat things up even more while facing each other.
