Soccer Recap: Coronado's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Thursday

If Coronado was feeling good fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Mesa Ridge on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars fell just short of the Harrison Panthers by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Coronado couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Ethan York, who's now up to 12 this season.

Coronado moved to 8-6-1 with that defeat, which also ended their four-match winning streak. As for Harrison, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-1-2 record this season.
