Volleyball Preview: Jefferson Silver Foxes vs. Andress Eagles
Jefferson has been on the road for two straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. After both having extra time off, they and the Andress Eagles will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 6:30 p.m. Andress took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Jefferson, who comes in off a win.
Last Tuesday, Jefferson made easy work of Canutillo and carried off a 3-0 victory.
The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-22, 26-24.
Meanwhile, Andress was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to Chapin.
Andress was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Chapin work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 26-24, 16-25, 25-10.
Jefferson's win bumped their record up to 14-15. As for Andress, their loss dropped their record down to 10-15.
