It's playoff time, and Southwest SD had no trouble coming through when it counted. They had just enough and edged out the Rancho Bernardo Broncos 59-56. The win was nothing new for the Raiders as they're now sitting on seven straight.

It was another big night for Khalid Deiranieh, who posted 23 points. His big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shaun Verdida, who had 13 points.

Southwest SD's record is now 25-6. As for Rancho Bernardo, they moved to 20-11 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Southwest SD will challenge Maranatha Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Southwest SD's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests. Rancho Bernardo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
