Softball Game Preview: Lyndhurst Golden Bears vs. Becton Wildcats

The Lyndhurst Golden Bears will face off against the Becton Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Lyndhurst and eight for Becton dating back to last season.

Lyndhurst came into this matchup off a tough nine-run loss on Saturday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Kearny by a score of 11-9 on Monday.

Gianna Lembo led a balanced group of hitters, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Olivia Glasser, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double.

Meanwhile, Becton lost 17-2 to Emerson on Saturday.

Becton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Lyndhurst, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
