It was a proper cat-fight when Southwest DeKalb challenged Tucker on Friday. The Panthers managed a 40-35 win over the Tigers. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

The victory made it two in a row for Southwest DeKalb and bumps their season record up to 6-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.5 points over those games. As for Tucker, they moved to 4-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Southwest DeKalb will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Northview at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th. As for Tucker, they will face off against North Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will be up against the Spartans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31.71 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
