Prattville Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Goodpasture Christian Cougars. The five-run effort marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Blake Bowman made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Bryce Masters, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Prattville Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 15-0. As for Goodpasture Christian, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-1 record.

Coincidentally, Prattville Christian Academy and Goodpasture Christian will both be playing Pryor the next time they take the field. Prattville Christian Academy will head out to face Pryor at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, while Goodpasture Christian will play them later in the day, at 11:30 a.m.
