Archbishop Shaw had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.7 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They never let the Landry Buccaneers onto the board and left with an 8-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won six matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Archbishop Shaw pushed their record up to 10-4-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five contests. As for Landry, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which is still a better percentage than their 2-8-1 record this season.
