Basketball Game Preview: Spring Valley Timberwolves vs. Oak Hill Red Devils

The Spring Valley Timberwolves will challenge the Oak Hill Red Devils at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Spring Valley's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Last Monday, Spring Valley didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Ironton, but they still walked away with a 79-75 victory.

Spring Valley got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Clay Robertson out in front who went 12 of 19 en route to 39 points. Robertson's afternoon made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Harrison Riggs, who went 10 of 14 on his way to 22 points.

Meanwhile, Oak Hill ended up a good deal behind Princeton on Saturday and lost 52-38. The loss continues a trend for the Red Devils in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

Spring Valley pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Oak Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Spring Valley strolled past Oak Hill in their previous meeting back in January of 2017 by a score of 67-48. Does Spring Valley have another victory up their sleeve, or will Oak Hill turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
