Baseball Recap: Bunker Comes Up Short

Bunker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 18-1 to the Valley Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 15-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Bunker saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Will Dotson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI. That hit was Dotson's first of the season.

Bunker's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Valley, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Coming up, Bunker will head out on the road to challenge Summersville at 5:00 p.m. on the 21st. Valley has already played their next game (against Lesterville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
