Football Recap: Lakeside Finds Playoff Glory Versus Parkview

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lakeside had no problem doing just that on Friday. They secured a 25-21 W over the Parkview Patriots. This was a revenge game for the Rams: when they faced off against the Patriots back in October, they had to take a 24-22 loss.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lakeside to victory, but perhaps none more so than Peter Ohman, who rushed for 131 yards and a pair of TDs. Ohman has been hot recently, having also posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last four times he's played. Another pass catcher making a difference was Drew Morgan, who picked up 131 receiving yards and one score.

The win was the third in a row for Lakeside, bringing their record up to 10-3. As for Parkview, the defeat snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 9-4 record.

Coming up, Lakeside will face off against Robinson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Parkview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
