Basketball Game Preview: Veritas Academy vs. Savio Eagles

Veritas Academy will take on the Savio Eagles in a tournament on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

On Saturday, Veritas Academy ended up a good deal behind St. Thomas Episcopal and lost 75-59.

Meanwhile, Savio had to suffer through a 76-47 loss at the hands of Faith Academy.

Veritas Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Savio, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Everything came up roses for Veritas Academy against Savio in their previous matchup back in November of 2021, as the team secured an 84-54 victory. In that matchup, Veritas Academy amassed a halftime lead of 43-16, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Monday.
