Softball Recap: Eufaula Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Eufaula had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged out the Geneva County Bulldogs 5-4 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since February 23rd.

Zy'Kayla Robinson was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaliyah Brooks, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Eufaula's victory bumped their record up to 8-14. As for Geneva County, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Looking ahead, Eufaula will take on Headland at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Geneva County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Samson at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
