Volleyball Game Preview: Fairfield Indians vs. Hamilton Big Blue

Fairfield is 8-1 against Hamilton since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Indians will challenge the Big Blue at 5:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Fairfield didn't have quite enough to beat Oak Hills and fell 3-2. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Fairfield wouldn't go down easily and took Oak Hills into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking three-point loss. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-18, 14-25, 25-19, 15-12.

Despite the defeat, Fairfield got top-tier performance from Peyton Smith, who had 21 digs and three aces. Smith is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Meanwhile, Hamilton made easy work of Cincinnati Christian on Wednesday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Big Blue.

Hamilton's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Fairfield, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.
