Boulder City had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Somerset Academy Losee Lions by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Boulder City had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 14-25, 25-12, 25-19, 25-15.

David Zwahlen paced Boulder City's offense, picking up 14 kills. Zwahlen were helped by Easton Welbourne and Garrett Adams, who contributed 14 assists each. Gibson Lamoreaux controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Boulder City's win bumped their record up to 29-8. As for Somerset Academy Losee, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-13 record this season.

Boulder City will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Valley at 6:00 p.m. The Vikings will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. Somerset Academy Losee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
