Football Recap: Pulaski Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pulaski can now relate to. They came up short against the West De Pere Phantoms on Friday, falling 42-21. While losing is never fun, the Red Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 51st, while the Phantoms are ranked fifth).

Ryan Lutz was his usual excellent self, rushing for 142 yards and three TDs while picking up 8.4 yards per carry for West De Pere. Lutz's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 104 rushing yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Judeah Kniskern, who picked up 85 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Pulaski's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4. As for West De Pere, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Pulaski does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West De Pere, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Union Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Lutz and Quintyn Martinez.
