Troy waltzed into their matchup on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They put the hurt on the Lapwai Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-17, 25-6.

Despite the defeat, Lapwai saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kelly Cirame had 21 digs. Cirame is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Troy's victory bumped their record up to 22-3. As for Lapwai, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 7-7.

Troy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Potlatch on the 14th. As for Lapwai, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Kamiah on the 14th.
