Soccer Recap: Glidden-Ralston Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Glidden-Ralston had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Harlan Cyclones, falling 8-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Glidden-Ralston of the 9-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

The win was the third in a row for Harlan, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Glidden-Ralston didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 5-0 loss against Winterset on the 4th. As for Harlan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, an 8-0 victory against Carroll on the 3rd.
