Volleyball Game Preview: Whittier Christian Heralds vs. Maranatha Minutemen

The Whittier Christian Heralds will head out on the road to face off against the Maranatha Minutemen at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Whittier Christian and nine for Maranatha.

On Tuesday, Whittier Christian came up short against Heritage Christian and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Maranatha came up short against Village Christian on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-15, 25-15.

Whittier Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-21-1. As for Maranatha, their loss dropped their record down to 6-15.

Whittier Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against Maranatha in their previous matchup back in September, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Heralds since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
