Softball Recap: David Anderson Blue Devils vs. Toronto Red Knights
While it was David Anderson who put the first points on the board on Saturday, it was Toronto who put up more. David Anderson lost 13-7 to Toronto. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-4 on Saturday.
Abby Ammon and Emelia Cook did some serious damage despite the final result: Ammon scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3, while Cook went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Sofia Brown was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
David Anderson's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Toronto, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
