Soccer Recap: Cornerstone Family Comes Up Short

After flying high against Manhattan HomeSchool CHIEF on Friday, Cornerstone Family came back down to earth. The Saints lost 6-3 to the Whitefield Academy Lions on Monday. Josiah Woodbridge probably wasn't too happy after the match: he scored every single goal for Cornerstone Family and still walked away on the losing team.

Cornerstone Family's loss dropped their record down to 6-10-1. As for Whitefield Academy, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.

Cornerstone Family didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-1 victory against Shawnee Mission Christian on the 9th. Hopefully Whitefield Academy paid attention to the Saints' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Saints at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
