Volleyball Game Preview: Liberty Hurricanes vs. Freedom Patriots

The Liberty Hurricanes will face off against the Freedom Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Liberty is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest loss since September 19th on Monday. They lost 3-0 to Nazareth Area.

While Liberty ultimately came up short, they really made Nazareth Area work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-21, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Freedom unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Monday. They came up short against Bethlehem Catholic, falling 3-0.

While Freedom ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-20, 25-17.

Freedom's defeat dropped their record down to 20-7-2. As for Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11-2.
