Basketball Game Preview: Hawkins Hawks vs. Fremont Pathfinders

Hawkins is 0-10 against Fremont since January of 2016 but things could change on Thursday. The Hawkins Hawks will be taking part in a tournament against the Fremont Pathfinders at 3:00 p.m. Both are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Hawkins is headed into the contest having just posted their biggest win since January 24th on December 13th. They claimed a resounding 61-27 victory over Dymally. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Hawks had established a 23 point advantage.

Meanwhile, Fremont had to endure a ten-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They took their matchup on Saturday with ease, bagging a 90-60 win over Rise Kohyang. The Pathfinders' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Fremont's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-9. As for Hawkins, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-11.

Hawkins was dealt a bruising 69-39 defeat at the hands of Fremont when the teams last played back in January. Can Hawkins avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
