Basketball Recap: Vann Rogers' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Ascent Classical Academy over STEM School Highlands Ranch + How To Watch

Ascent Classical Academy lost against STEM School Highlands Ranch back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Guardians took a 47-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans.

Several Guardians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Vann Rogers, who shot 42% from the field to rack up 13 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Champ Chamblin, who posted six points.

Ascent Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for STEM School Highlands Ranch, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Ascent Classical Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 50-41 defeat against Liberty Tree Academy on the 6th. As for STEM School Highlands Ranch, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 58-47 loss against Loveland Classical on the 6th.
