Basketball Recap: All Saints Episcopal Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

All Saints Episcopal entered their contest against Bishop Gorman on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The All Saints Episcopal Trojans took a hard 46-29 fall against the Bishop Gorman Crusaders. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-21 back in December of 2024.

Bishop Gorman's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kate Cleofe, who posted nine points and five steals. That's the most steals Cleofe has posted since back in February of 2024. Gianna Mahfood was another key player, putting up nine points along with six steals and five boards.

All Saints Episcopal's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-3. As for Bishop Gorman, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. All Saints Episcopal is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Shelton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. All Saints Episcopal is facing Shelton at the right time seeing as Shelton is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Bishop Gorman, they will venture away from home to challenge Dallas Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
