Soccer Game Preview: Lakota West vs. Lakota East

The Lakota West Firebirds will head out to take on the Lakota East Thunderhawks at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Lakota West turned things around against New Albany on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Eagles.

Lakota West hit New Albany with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Darcy Bittlinger, Audrey Anthony, and Kelsey Baldock.

Meanwhile, Lakota East kept a clean sheet against Hamilton on Thursday. They blew past the Big Blue 6-0. Given Lakota East's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 139th, while Hamilton are ranked 322nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lakota East's win bumped their record up to 5-6-1. As for Lakota West, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6-1.
