Football Recap: Seamus Hoffman Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Temecula Valley + How To Watch

Irvine had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They enjoyed a cozy 24-7 win over the Temecula Valley Golden Bears on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vaqueros.

Irvine's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Seamus Hoffman, who rushed for 108 yards on only 15 carries.

Irvine didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of James Enderton and Dylan Nguyen.

Irvine's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Temecula Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.

Irvine will venture away from home to challenge Quartz Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vaqueros will need to watch out since the Royals have now posted at least 31 points in their last five games. Temecula Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
