Football Recap: Trinity Takes a Loss

Trinity's last matchup with Berkshire could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Saturday. The Trojans were beaten by the Badgers 43-6. The Trojans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-6.

Sam Barcikoski had an outrageously good game for Berkshire as he rushed for 83 yards and three TDs, and also threw for 150 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 78.9% of his passes.

Trinity is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3. As for Berkshire, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Trinity is taking a road trip to challenge Kirtland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans' defense better be ready for this one: the Hornets have averaged an impressive 31 points per game this season. As for Berkshire, they will be playing at home against Fairview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Badgers will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
