Softball Preview: Bishop Diego Cardinals vs. Coastal Christian Conquerors
Bishop Diego is 8-2 against Coastal Christian since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bishop Diego Cardinals will challenge the Coastal Christian Conquerors at 2:30 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Bishop Diego proved they can win big two weeks ago (they won by 14) and last Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Santa Barbara 5-4. The victory was just business as usual for the Cardinals, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Tara Gregson was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed 2.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Gregson was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played.

Bishop Diego's record is now 3-0. As for Coastal Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
