Softball Recap: Westside Takes a Loss

Westside fell victim to Pike County and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 17-0 to the Pirates. The Seminoles' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it seven in a row.

Westside's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Pike County, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westside will challenge Rutland at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pike County, they will take on Prince Avenue Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
