Volleyball Recap: Twin Falls Triumphs

Twin Falls won the last time they faced Jerome and things went their way on Monday too. The Bruins came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tigers, sneaking past 3-2. Surprisingly, this marked the Bruins' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Twin Falls wouldn't go down easily and took Jerome into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-28, 25-20, 26-24, 23-25, 16-14.

VALERIE BLACK was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 37 digs and one assist. Another player making a difference was KAITLYN HUDSON, who had 20 digs and one assist.

Twin Falls was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

The win got Twin Falls back to even at 1-1. As for Jerome, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Twin Falls is set to challenge their familiar foe Wood River at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Jerome will square off against rival Mountain Home at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
