Baseball Preview: Robinson Knights vs. Chamberlain Storm
Robinson is a perfect 6-0 against Chamberlain since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Knights will square off against the Storm at 7:30 p.m. The last three games Robinson has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Having struggled with five losses in a row, Robinson turned things around against Plant City on Friday. They never let the Raiders get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Knights have posted since February 11th.

Robinson got a great performance from Nathan Porath as he didn't allow a single earned run over 5.2 innings pitched. Porath also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because the Knights are 4-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 6-11 otherwise.
At the plate, Robinson saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cason Cooper, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chamberlain). They blew past Riverview 13-5 on Thursday. That's two games straight that the Storm have won by exactly eight runs.
Trey Sharpe was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Hyde, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3.
Chamberlain's win ended a nine-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-20. As for Robinson, their victory bumped their record up to 10-13.
