Football Recap: Perry's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

There was early excitement for Perry after they claimed the first score on Friday, but it was Lake who ended up claiming the real prize. The Panthers took a 31-15 bruising from the Blue Streaks. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Streaks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Perry fell to 3-1. As for Lake, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Perry will host McKinley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Northwest at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
