Volleyball Recap: Westside Comes Up Short

Westside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the River View Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

While Westside had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 23-25, 25-19, 25-19.

Brooklyn Kennedy was a one-woman wrecking crew For River View. as she had 25 digs and four aces. Those 25 digs gave Kennedy a new career-high.

Westside's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15-1. As for River View, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-13.

Westside has already played their next contest (against Mount View), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for River View, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Hurley on the 23rd.
