Volleyball Game Preview: Richmond Heights Spartans vs. Brooklyn Hurricanes

Richmond Heights is 2-8 against Brooklyn since September of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Spartans are taking a road trip to square off against the Hurricanes at 6:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Richmond Heights came up short against Trinity on Monday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-21, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Brooklyn lost 3-0 to Cuyahoga Heights on Thursday. The Hurricanes haven't had much luck with the Red Wolves recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-12, 25-16.

Richmond Heights will have to contain Reannan Konopka as she made an impact in Brooklyn's last game. She had 14 digs and two aces.

Richmond Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Brooklyn, their loss dropped their record down to 3-15.

Richmond Heights couldn't quite get it done against Brooklyn in their previous matchup on September 9th as they fell 3-1. Can the Spartans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
