Cowan won the last time they faced Blue River Valley and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Blackhawks put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 11-2 victory. Considering the Blackhawks have won four games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Gentry Groves was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
