Volleyball Recap: Covington Comes Up Short

Covington was the 2-0 winner over Lafayette Central Catholic when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans fell 2-0 to the Knights on Saturday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Kiyah Sturgeon, who had 12 digs.

Covington's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Lafayette Central Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Covington will take on Indianapolis Lutheran in a tournament on Saturday. As for Lafayette Central Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Linton-Stockton at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
