Meanwhile, Meade County suffered their biggest defeat since February 22, 2024 on Friday. They were outmatched by Breckinridge County and fell 78-48. The contest marked the Green Waves' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meade County's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 10-6. As for Elizabethtown, their victory bumped their record up to 6-13.

Elizabethtown strolled past Meade County when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a score of 77-62. The rematch might be a little tougher for Elizabethtown since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
