Softball Recap: Lewis County's Undefeated Season over After Seven Games

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Lewis County was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They fell just short of the Lexington Tigers by a score of 3-2. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Lewis County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Makaela Dodson, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lewis County fell to 6-1. As for Lexington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3.

We've got a battle between Panthers coming up. As for Lexington, they are on the road again on Saturday to play Scotts Hill at 11:00 a.m. Scotts Hill will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Lexington surely won't give up without a fight.
