Basketball Game Preview: Holden Rockets vs. Benjamin Franklin Falcons

The Holden Rockets will head out to challenge the Benjamin Franklin Falcons at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Holden will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Holden will bounce into Monday's matchup after beating Hathaway, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Holden sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 46-43 win over Hathaway on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rockets have posted since November 16, 2024.

Benjamin Franklin hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They came out on top against L.W. Higgins by a score of 49-38 on Friday.

Holden's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-15. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.7 points per game. As for Benjamin Franklin, their record now sits at 8-18.

Holden couldn't quite finish off Benjamin Franklin in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 and fell 50-47. Can Holden avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
