William Floyd had won six straight games and Jaquan Thomas did his part to make it seven on Saturday. The Colonials blew past the Bay Shore Marauders 42-0 for which the team can thank Thomas, who rushed for 160 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. Thomas is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 128 every time he's taken the field this season.

William Floyd's record is now 7-0. As for Bay Shore, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. William Floyd is set to take on their familiar foe Walt Whitman at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Colonials 9.4, the Wildcats 13) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Bay Shore will challenge rival Riverhead at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
