Volleyball Recap: Campolindo Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Campolindo couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 3-1 to the Redwood Giants on Saturday. The Cougars have struggled against the Giants recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Redwood scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 23-25, 25-22, 25-17.

Hanna Raczynska paced Campolindo's offense, picking up 14 kills. Raczynska got some help from Amelia Knutson and her 35 assists. Sophia Wilson controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Campolindo's loss dropped their record down to 26-8. As for Redwood, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season.

Campolindo and Redwood are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Cougars will host Sacred Heart Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Redwood, they are taking a road trip to square off against Archbishop Mitty at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
