Volleyball Recap: Tanalian Falls Short Against Ranked Nunamiut

Tanalian faced Nunamiut in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Lynx fell 3-1 to the Amaguq. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Amaguq this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on Thursday.

Tanalian started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 25-27, 25-15, 25-15, 25-12.

This is the second loss in a row for Tanalian and nudges their season record down to 8-2. As for Nunamiut, the win keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.

Looking ahead, Tanalian will challenge Aniak on Friday. Nunamiut does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
